Socket Weld Forged Fittings

Forged elbows, tees, couplings and unions for small-bore, high-pressure piping systems.

ASME B16.11ForgedClass 3000-9000

Technical Information

Socket weld forged fittings are used on small-bore, high-pressure lines where the pipe end is inserted into a machined socket and fillet-welded, avoiding bevelling and reducing weld time versus butt welds.
